The Fun Continues! SOC Blog Hop

I hope you're enjoying day two of the SOC Turnt Up for 10 blog hop!  I have loved celebrating with the other bloggers and seeing their awesome creations!

If you're following the hop, then you arrived here from Cheryl's amazing blog:!

One of the things I love most about SOC is the fact that it's so inspirational!  The talent found in the SOC community always inspires me to explore the different facets of my creativity.  So today I wanted to highlight and celebrate some of the great things you'll find in the Scraps of Color community by creating a little video.  Take a look...!

Okay so *clearly* I'm not a digital media professional! LOL  But I had fun making this and I hope you enjoyed it!  And if you haven't signed up for SOC yet-- what are you waiting for?!  Join in on the fun!!

Alrighty, that's it from me today!  Head on over to Kimberly B's blog- I know she has something excellent waiting for you:!  Have fun with the remainder of the hop!

Let's keep the SOC party going!!  #TurnDownForWhat

Turnt Up for 10 Years of SOC!

Hi there!  Hope you're enjoying the Scraps of Color Blog Hop celebrating 10 years!

If you're following the hop, then you arrived here from Cheryl's awesome blog and I know you had to enjoy her post!  If you you missed Cheryl's blog for some reason (gasp!) you can visit it here:

I'm so excited to be celebrating 10 years of the amazing community that is Scraps of Color!  I was fortunate enough to find the group and join in 2010; I have enjoyed every moment of being a part of the group.  I was welcomed warmly by so many of the members and was able to jump right in.  I have participated in some great challenges (even though I was too scared to post my projects at first! LOL), fun discussion groups, and some excellent swaps.  I consider it a blessing to share and be inspired by such a talented group of crafters!

I encourage everyone to join in on the fun! Consider joining the community!

My first project for the swap is a funky card featuring our theme phrase TURNT UP!

This is an A2 card with an embossed background courtesy of the Tim Holtz "Rays" embossing folder.  To add a bit of interest, I lightly rubbed my white VersaMagic Dew Drop ink pad over the impression.  I cut the sentiment using my Silhouette Cameo (love that machine!) and popped it up using dimensional foam squares.  I think it turned out on the vibrant/edgy side---and I like it! LOL

Okay, thanks for stopping by!  Your next stop will be to Kimberly B's super cute blog:!  I know your going to love it!  Enjoy the rest of the hop!

And Happy 10 years SOC!!!  #TurnDownForWhat
